Draft pending legal review — not yet in effect.
Effective date: [effective date — to be confirmed]
Short notice
[legal entity — to be confirmed], located at [address — to be confirmed], is responsible for your personal data. We use your email, password (stored only as a hash), subscription details, preferences, and the watchlists, portfolio and alerts you sync, to provide the TREDIA service, bill your subscription, keep your account secure and contact you about it. If you agree, we will also send you product news and marketing; you can refuse at any time by writing to hello@tredia.tech. The full notice below explains everything, including your rights.
1. Who is responsible
[legal entity — to be confirmed] (tax ID [tax ID — to be confirmed]), [address — to be confirmed], operates https://tredia.tech and https://app.tredia.tech (the “Service”). Privacy contact: hello@tredia.tech.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account: email and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Subscription: plan and status. Card details are entered on the hosted checkout of Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Preferences: language, theme and display currency.
- Content you sync: watchlists, portfolio entries and alerts.
- Waitlist: email, language, profile (trader, investor, options or crypto), referral source and campaign tags (UTM), and a hash of your IP address (not the IP itself).
- Session: a strictly necessary cookie (see the Cookie Policy).
Only in your browser: your trading journal (Sage Journal) and some files stay in your browser’s local storage and are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them and we cannot recover them.
We do not request sensitive personal data. Portfolio entries may reveal financial information; we process them only to show them to you.
3. Purposes
Primary (necessary for the Service): (a) create and manage your account; (b) provide the Service and sync your content; (c) send the alerts you set up; (d) process subscriptions, payments, renewals and refunds; (e) send transactional emails (verification, receipts, security and service notices); (f) provide support; (g) secure the Service, prevent fraud and enforce session limits and our Terms; (h) manage the waitlist and send invitations; (i) comply with the law.
Secondary (not necessary): (a) newsletters, product news and promotions; (b) surveys; (c) measuring which channels bring us users, using waitlist source and campaign tags.
To refuse secondary purposes: leave the marketing box unchecked at sign-up, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to hello@tredia.tech. Refusing does not affect the Service.
4. Processors and transfers
Only service providers acting on our behalf and instructions receive personal data: the payment processor (Stripe), a transactional email provider, our hosting provider in the United States, a cookie-free analytics provider and, if we activate the AI research assistant (not active yet), an AI model provider (Anthropic, maker of Claude) that would receive the questions you send it together with the market context the terminal attaches to them, which can include the names and tickers of your watchlists. We would not send your email, payment details or trading journal. Your data is therefore processed outside Mexico.
We do not sell your personal data or transfer it to third parties for their own purposes. We disclose it without your consent only where the law allows, such as a request from a competent authority.
5. ARCO rights and revocation of consent
You may Access, Rectify or Cancel (delete) your personal data, Oppose its use for specific purposes, and revoke your consent.
How: email hello@tredia.tech from your account address with (i) your name and account email; (ii) a copy of an ID or, through a representative, proof of representation; (iii) the right you want to exercise and the data involved; and (iv) anything that helps us locate the data.
Deadlines: we respond within 20 days of a complete request and, if granted, make it effective within the next 15 days. Each period may be extended once for the same length when justified. The process is free, except justified shipping or copying costs.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
6. Limiting use and disclosure
You can change your email preferences at any time and ask us to stop any secondary use by writing to hello@tredia.tech.
7. Cookies
We use no advertising or third-party cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
8. Security and retention
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS) and the session cookie is HttpOnly and Secure. We keep your data while your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal obligations (such as tax records) or disputes.
9. European Union and United Kingdom
Legal bases: contract (account, Service, billing); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, aggregate analytics); consent (marketing, withdrawable at any time); legal obligation (tax and accounting).
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Transfers: your data is processed in Mexico and the United States, with appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
10. California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA, in the last 12 months we collected identifiers (email), commercial information (plan and status) and the account content you provide, for the purposes in section 3. We do not sell or “share” personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You may request to know, correct or delete your information, directly or through an authorized agent, without discrimination. Write to hello@tredia.tech; we verify identity through your account email.
11. Minors
The Service is not directed to people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We will publish changes on this page with a new date and notify you by email or in the Service if they are material.
